Jay-Z showed up Wednesday at a YouTube event and became the first celebrity to rock the new Brooklyn Nets cap. We are unaware if he wore his new Gourmet footwear which also features the Nets new logo.

Decked in all black, including the cap, the Nets minority owner rocked out "Empire State of Mind" to a group of advertisers who YouTube wants to support original programming on the website. Jay-Z's "Life and Times" is among those providing original programmers.

Edward Burns, the actor, also tweeted a picture of himself wearing a Nets cap.
