This is my first post but i've been coming to Nets Daily and reading posts for years.

I know this is a little pre mature considering we wont know till Wednesday whether we will even have a pick or not but bare with me. I have been seeing alot of differing opinions on what to do if we win the lottery. i think if we get the #2 or 3 pick then we should absolutely try and package it with Brook Lopez and other pieces to Orlando for Dwight. but i think its a HUGE mistake to trade Anthony Davis to Orlando. I understand that Dwight is the best big man in the game and instantly turns us into contenders but I really think Davis is going to be a future MVP candidate and hes only 18 or 19.

Alot of ppl have come to the conclusion that if we dont get Dwight then Deron is going to Dallas and I don't think that's true. Deron isnt dumb. He's been playing basketball his entire life and he's well aware of how good Davis can be. If we get the top pick he isn't going anywhere. Not to mention, who better to help Davis reach his potential as soon as possible than an elite pg in the prime of his career. I don't think we hurt ourselves at all by keeping Davis cause its not like by keeping him were completely out of the Dwight sweepstakes. He can still sign here next summer if he really wants to be here and then we'll have a big 3 that's better than Miami going forward. I guess I just wanted to see how everyone else felt about this if it were to occur.
