A Croatian basketball site reports that the Nets are talking buyout with Bojan Bogdanovic's Turkish team, Fenerbahce. Crobasket offered no details on the reported talks. The Nets can only contribute $525,000 to any buyout package Fener might agree to. Tuesday, there were reports that since Bogdanovic has no "NBA out" in his contract, the whole deal would have to be re-negotiated and Fener might not go along.
Crobasket reports that while Turkish media claim Bogdanovic could sue Fener for "breach of contract," those close to him deny it and say instead that any deal is up to Fener and the Nets. Crobasket also noted that the two positions Bogdanovic plays --shooting guard and small forward-- are "crowded" on the Nets roster.
As to what kind of salary Bogdanovic might command in the NBA, Crobasket pointed to what another European second rounder received recently. Omer Asik, the Bulls seven footer, signed a two-year, $3.8 million contract.
