Is Sly headed to Brooklyn? We were told he would not be retained as the mascot in an effort to remodel the identity of the team which did not sit well with the fans. Many fans signed petitions or joined groups on Facebook to try and stop this from happening. Has the team listened? Sly has been appearing at team events including ones in the Brooklyn community. A picture was recently posted on the teams site featuring Sly and the dancers decked in black and white. Notice the font of the "s" in Sly (and the other letters too). That's the same font that the word "Nets" was always written in. Interesting.
