Draft Express Jonathan Givony has begun his analysis of the Nets Combine with measurements of the 44 prospects who showed up at the PNY to be watched by 30 GMs and scouts.
The biggest surprise was Zach Rosen's speed. The Ivy League Player of the Year recorded one of the fastest times of any player timed at an NBA combine, only a "a fraction of a second slower than Derrick Rose." Other surprises included Jae Crowder's height, listed at 6'6" by Marquette, but less than 6'4" in reality.
Givony gives Josh Owens, who played at Stanford with the Lopez twins, high marks along with J'Covan Brown of Texas, Casper Ware of Long Beach State and seven-footer Justin Hamilton of LSU. All are second rounders, says Givony.
