Ric Bucher got Dwight Howard to respond to some of the big criticisms of him in an ESPN the Magazine interview. And while he still professes his love of Orlando and says that he and Stan Van Gundy have made up after their embarrassing joint appearance in front of TV cameras, he doesn't commit to the Magic.
And although he doesn't say he regrets signing his extension, he admits that it was a "learning experience."
"Re-signing was a very tough decision, for one," he says. "Looking at athletes in the past, no matter what sport it might be, we can all say what we would do from the outside, but you never know what you would do in that situation until you're in it. I'm a young guy. This was a learning experience."
