my dream, and surprisingly realistic for BK nets

With the SVG and D12 saga ongoing, it is becoming more and more clear that the magic are going to trade Dwight to avoid the DwightMare Part 2. The nets are going to swoop in and get him on draft night. This is how it is going to happen.

In the Draft Lottery, the Nets get lucky and end up with the #2 overall pick. The Houston Rockets sneak into the playoffs as the #8 seed, and the Nets get their 15th overall pick.

On Draft Night, the nets draft MKG with their 2nd overall pick. With the 15th pick, they pick UNC forward John Henson, who just slips out of the lottery due to concerns that he will become another Brandon Wright. The Magic end up as the 6 seed in the east, and end up with the 19th overall pick. When the Magic are picking, Billy King strikes a deal with the Magic and the Hawks.

Nets Receive: Dwight Howard, Chris Duhon, DeAndre Liggins, and Magic 19th overall pick.

Magic Receive: Brook Lopez, MarShon Brooks, Nets 2nd overall pick (MKG), Nets 2014 1st round pick, the Nets 2013 2nd Round pick, and the Hawks 2012 1st round pick (20th overall), and the rights to Bojan Bogdanovic

Hawks Receive: Jordan Farmar and Nets 2012 2nd Round pick (received from Heat)

So the Nets finally land their prize D12, almost guaranteeing that D-Will stays. But the Nets aren't done on Draft night.

With the Magic's 19th overall pick that the Nets received, the Nets draft PG Marquis Teague, to back up D-Will....Then, when the Grizzlies are drafting at 22nd overall, the Nets trade SG Anthony Morrow and $3 million for their 22nd overall pick.

With that pick, the Nets draft Syracuse SG Dion Waiters, to fill their sudden need at SG.

Then, FA starts....Jason Kidd signs with the Nets for a 1-year, vet-minimum deal to retire as a Net after the season, and to back up DWill and mentor Teague.

sign Kevin Garnett to a 2-year, $13 Mil deal to start until John Henson is ready to start.

Sign SG Vince Carter to a 1 year $1 deal to back up Waiters or start and play about 20 min a game.

Re-sign Gerald Wallace to a 4-year $24 million deal.

Re-sign Gerald Green to a 3-year $5 million deal.

Re-Sign DWILL and D12 to the Maximum years/money.

This will cap us out for a while, but this lineup is a championship worthy team in Year 1 of Brooklyn.

2012-13 LINEUP

PG: D-Will, Teague, Kidd, Duhon

SG: Waiters, VC

SF: Wallace, Green, Liggins

PF: Garnett, Henson

C: Howard, S.Wiliams, J.Williams

This may sound unrealistic now..but this is truly possible. The Nets are set up great for the long run, and a possible Championship next season if this happens
