I'm not a long-time Nets season ticket holder, but I have been going to the games through various ticket plans since the mid-90s. The last couple seasons, I've split season tickets with 3 other friends. We have good seats in section 1, and paid roughly $1,600 total (this season we got back the proportional amount for the games missed due to the lockout). I knew prices would go up due to Brooklyn, but does anyone want to take a guess?

$3,000? Nope.

$5,000? Nope.

$9,000? Getting closer.

That's right, for the same seats in Brooklyn, my buddies and I would have to pay $10,000. Over a 600% price increase. I really thought this was an April Fool's joke. But I better "act now" since this "special price" will only be available until April 23rd. Given what I've seen the last 5 years, I just have to laugh. Good luck filling that arena, guys.
