Kerber: Wallace May Be Done

Stay connected for news and updates

In previewing the Nets game vs. the 76ers, Fred Kerber reports that Gerald Wallace is out and "Wallace probably won’t play again -- he has a strained hamstring, a notoriously slow-healing injury -- although he is listed as day-to-day."

Wallace has already missed one game after he landed badly following a putback dunk vs. the Cavaliers. If Wallace is indeed out for the remaining seven games, he would be the seventh Net to suffer a season-ending injury, an NBA high. The others are: Damion James, Keith Bogans, Shawne Williams, Mehmet Okur, Jordan Farmar and Brook Lopez.
