The Nets announced Thursday afternoon what Billy King promised on Tuesday: Gerald Green is under contract for another 10 days.

After almost three years out of the league, Green has averaged 5.6 points in five games for the Nets, shooting 43% from the field and 3-for-10 from three-point range. He shot 9-for-16 in his first two games, but just 3-for-12 in his last three.

If the Nets want to keep Green when this contract expires, they'll have to sign him for the remainder of the season.
