NBA.com gives everyone a chance to talk about Dwight Howard's desire to leave Orlando and how the Magic might be able to come up with a scenario where everyone wins. Some writers throw out fantasy like deals, without considering whether Howard would go there or whether teams would want to break up winning teams.

But John Schuhmann and Sekou Smith think the bottom line is this: there no outside-the-box deal for Magic ownership or management to pursue. As Schuhmann writes, "I don’t think it’s possible to come up with an outside-the-box scenario where everyone wins ... And if Howard’s list is really limited to New Jersey, as the tea leaves seem to indicate, the Magic would probably be better off doing a two-team trade that gets them maximum salary relief (by including Hedo Turkoglu or Glen Davis in the deal)."
