Stay connected for news and updates

The Armor played their last home game of the regular season Friday, winning 89-82 before the largest home crowd in Springfield history, 6,061. The victory gave the Armor sole possession of first place in the D-League East and virtually assured them their first playoff appearance.

Jeff Foote had a big double-double, with 16 points and 15 rebounds. In all, four Armor players finished in double figures. Damion Johnson, filling in for Dennis Horner, had 17 and 11. The Armor have four more games next week before the D-League playoffs begin.
