In an interview with his hometown newspaper, Dennis Horner confirms that he'll sign with the Nets Friday in San Francisco, where the team is staying before its game vs. the Warriors.
"It's a great opportunity," Horner said in a phone interview Thursday. "This time they called me up because some guys got hurt. I am going to hopefully get some minutes. Hopefully, I can play well."
Horner was averaging 17 points and 8.5 boards with Springfield.
Meanwhile, the Armor moved into first place in the East, as the team's three All-Stars, Jeff Foote, JamesOn Curry and Jerry Smith, each had 19 points in a 115-113 double overtime win over Sioux Falls.
