Deron Williams said nice things about Anthony Davis, the 6'10" center who everyone thinks will be the overall #1 pick when the Draft takes place in Newark on June 28...and it's just from watching television. He saw Davis up close last summer at a camp he ran with Amare Stoudemire.
Asked if he could adapt to having Davis on the Nets next season, D-Will reponded, "I guess so, yeah. I’m sure I could. If we get the No. 1 pick."
The Nets currently have an 11 percent chance of landing the overall #1 pick in the June 28 draft, which will be held at the Prudential Center. The Nets' chances at any of the top three picks are unaffected by the Gerald Wallace trade.
