Four Armor players scored 20 or more Tuesday night as the Nets' D-League affiliate broke a losing streak in South Dakota, beating the Sioux Falls Skyforce, 115-109. JamesOn Curry led with 23, while center Jeff Foote posted 22 and 9 rebounds in his second game back from a stint with the Hornets. L.D. Williams added 21 and Lance Hurdle 20.
The win ended a four-game losing streak that has put Springfield in a tight race for the D-League playoffs. The absence of Foote last week and Jerry Smith this has hurt them. Until those two call-ups, the Armor had the D-League's most stable roster, a key to success in a league of comings and goings.
