This a combination of ideas I cooked up a long time ago. I wanted to put them together in one fanpost so I can fit the word requirements.

1)Seriously, people need to stop saying that going to the Mavs is great because they have an owner that's willing to go past the luxury tax. If there's anyone who is willing to spend, it's the guy who's running for president for fun who also happens to be 10 times richer than Mark Cuban.

2)The Celtics have been shopping Rondo, and most of the articles say they are trying to land a big man. How about a Lopez-Rondo-third team trade. Rondo is the best player, and has the most value, but we don't need him. Lopez has the most potential but also has the most future value because he is a big. We could use Rondo's value for a great wing. This of course assumes we get Dwight.

3)What do you think would have happened if we had traded for 'Melo? I think Paul would have forced his way here through FA because he want's to play with his buddy. We'd have a line up of Paul/Brooks/Melo/Hump/Lopez. While the Knicks would have Dwill/Fields/W. Chander (Gallo goes to Utah)/PF/Howard(Stat goes to Orlando)

...Or hell Paul might have ended up in LA and we'd be screwed. I like our roster now (and possible the future)
