Gerald Green is expected to sign a new contract with the Nets sometime Saturday. The question is for how long. Will be be around for the rest of this season or through the end of next season.

Green, whose second and last 10-day contract runs out Sunday, says his agent and the Nets have been talking about both possibilities.

"This organization, man, has really blessed me," said Green, who's averaged 11.3 points on 52.9% shooting. "Honestly, I haven’t really spoken with my agent yet. Right now, we’re talking about just signing me for the end of this year. I think they were talking about things for next year, but right now it’s just this year."
