We need to hold onto Gerald Green no matter what.

It is definitely not a good time to panic in Nets land. We never should have made that trade for Wallace without protecting the 1st round pick 1 to 10 both there is nothing we can do about that now. However there is one player that I believe we must hold onto and that is Gerald Green. I believe that Gerald is a Heaven sent blessing, an off the radar pickup from the D league that I can see flourishing the rest of the season as well as in Brooklyn. I remember watching the D league allstar game and saying to myself man we really could use him in Jersey but the Nets will never get him and them bam it happened. He is a 6'8" SF that can actually play good backetball. I know he was a castoff from the Celtics and ended up in the developmental league but he was 18 when they drafted him and he was immature. Now he is 26 and much more mature, yet he hasn't lost any of the athletic ability that he displayed we he won the 2007 NBA Slam dunk contest while greatly improving outside shooting. Please sign him for the rest of the season as well as next year while we still can.
