I've been a Net fan my entire life & I love this franchise.. Now, this FANBASE? Not so much.
Why are Nets fans always so negative? You're quick to call the team "cursed" and say "things never work out for us, we're the Nets". Do you think your constant whining is helping anything? This fanbase jumps for joy when players want to come here (Ex. We're moving to BK, have a billion dollar arena on the way, Billy is a great GM & we have a top 3 point guard) & as soon as things change, everything positive gets completely disregarded & the focus goes towards things such as: Avery sucks as a coach, We're the NETS, Billy panicked, WE'RE THE NETS.
Another thing I've noticed is people like to dwell on what could've, would've & should've been done like they're the NBA's greatest GM. IT DIDN'T HAPPEN SO MOVE ON! No need to discuss Dwight Coward, no need to say who you would've drafted with the pick that was clearly just traded away. We have Gerald Wallace now who is the perfect solution to a team lacking a legitimate SF. We need Deron, Deron wants to win now and this trade - I believe - can make us a 6th or 7th seed team in the East. I'm trying to keep this as short as possible while still getting my point across and since I know most posters here don't like reading long posts, enjoy this video. Gerald Wallace Highlights
