At Wednesday's shootaround, Avery Johnson told reporters that Deron Williams will sit out Wednesday's game against the Raptors, still dealing with his sore right calf. Johnson did say that Williams is improving and could return to action on Friday in Orlando or Saturday against the Hornets.

This will be the third straight game Williams has missed and his fourth absence of the season. The Nets are 0-3 without him thus far.
