Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer tweets the Nets are interested in the expiring deal of Boris Diaw: "I hear from multiple sources Nets expressed interest in Boris Diaw's expiring contract. The hitch is what #Bobcats would have to take back."

Diaw, 29, was deactivated by Charlotte coach Paul Silas last week and has not played since. Said Silas, "I think if he had played all out, the way he should have, it would have been a much, much better club."

Diaw is 6'8" but can play almost every position on the court. He is on the last year of his contract, earning $9 million. Bonnell did not indicate who the Bobcats would have to accept in return. Other teams are also reportedly interested in Diaw.
