I don't really post too often but I'm a daily checker and I appreciate this forum which has plenty of educated level headed fans and is one of the best fan blogs of seen so props to everyone here for that. That being said there are a couple of things I've noticed that I would like to bring to everyone's attention. (I don't really know the rules around here so if I break any let me know)
While it is not easy to be a nets fan these days and I am just as frustrated half the time as the rest of the guys here on this board I think we need to put everything into perspective a little bit. I've heard people on here talk about how they want milwaukees coach noting how he must be a good coach keeping his team in the hunt through Bogut's injury and what not, but Avery gets too much hate on this board what avery has done this season considering the injuries is right on par with coach scott skills of milwaukee.
Now its Jordan Farmar's turn I really never understood Farmar ever getting hate on this board he is one of our only consistently good players and he plays well in all of our big games when we need him most he is also one of the few nets that has big game experience I really think it is laughable that he ever gets hate on this board he is one of the better backup pgs in the league and I only got love for him he's a quality player.
When your team is losing games you want to try and find out who's fault it is and pin the blame on them but with our team this season it really is nobody's fault. The nets are trying to win a championship and the only way to do that was hold off on guys like NeNe and caron butler in order to be able to get players that they can contend with and not just be in the middle of the pack so in reality if there is anyone to blame for the nets woes this season it would be the miami heat and their big three for changing the complextion of the league and making it impossible to contend with a roster that would contend back in 08 or 09.
By the end of next week after the trade deadline we might have a clearer picture of how our future could look but things are really looking up around here and while the passion, intensity, and frustration is understandable I think we should all be more positive because things seem to be looking up around here.
