D-Will: Designing Man of the Nets
The Nets are all about Brooklyn ... and making sure Deron Williams is there with them in eight months when the team takes the court at Barclays Center.
One (small) indication of that is the coverage of a D-Will partnership, with clothier Bonobos, on the team's official website.
The Nets' Ben Couch interviewed Williams this week on the inauguration of his partnership with Bonobos, which is debuting its Foundation Suit Collection. Williams said he chose Bonobos for a variety of reasons, including its willingness to work with his charity, the Point of Hope and their "really classic-looking suits, nothing crazy."
it's hard to imagine this happening in Salt Lake City...on any level.

Not true at all
If Deron has his own signature line and receives royalties and/or equity, it’s a massive endorsement deal long-term, much better than just up front $$.
Example – Brady and Under Armour. Took equity and will make tons of $$ long-term.

hardly
its news…another indication of how the Nets are all in with Williams.
Anyone remember the Nets official website doing a piece on a player’s endorsement?
"It's as sweet as it ever was, I'll tell you. Now, hopefully, we started something and we can win some more championships, but we're going to enjoy this one right now. Have a little champagne." --Julius Erving, May 12, 1976, ABA champion Nets locker room.
man that suit is fresh. I'm not into dressing up but I love that suit.
as I’m getting into my later 20s, I’m liking suits a bit more. I’d definitely buy more if they weren’t so damn expensive!

Boston keeps winning
Guess it’s 8th spot war so the nets relly need to start winning more games
As long as were within 6 to 7 games under 500 when dwight gets here we should be fine but i have a feeling the Knicks will start winning eventually so winning more is important.

Did ND remove all the Giants talk?
Seriously? It’s not that big of a deal. That’s silly. GO NETS, GO GIANTS!
I delete the off-topic stuff
for the benefit of those who come here for basketball and don’t want to sift through stuff they didn’t come here for.
The thought of creating a FanPost for off-topic stuff has crossed my mind.

I will add that
it wasn’t that bad tonight, considering the circumstances. But if I delete the 100-post off-topic threads on other nights, I have to delete the shorter ones tonight.

If you allow one off-topic comment you have to allow them all.
And we know it’s your job to play “mommy” here.
I'm sure
he’s a classy guy, very cool demeanor. I’m sure he can rake in a lot more endorsements here

speaking of clothes, can’t wait to see the throwbacks tomorrow, as well as the throwback warmups!
Bonobos are the sex maniacs of apes
Sex is there main social activity. Weird name for a clothing line.

Hmmm, Bonobos
Strange name for a suit. Aren’t they other primate that’s known for having sex for pleasure? Does that tie in with the suits somehow?
