DALLAS, TX - JUNE 07: Jason Kidd #2 of the Dallas Mavericks passes the ball against the Miami Heat in Game Four of the 2011 NBA Finals at American Airlines Center on June 7, 2011 in Dallas, Texas. In an interview with The Back Sports Page, Jason Kidd talks about his teammates Kenyon Martin and Vince Carter as well as his favorite game as a Nets (no surprise, Game 5 of the Pacers, 2002) but also about his departure, about the Nets going in a different direction.

Things just don’t go well the next couple years when a team is sold. I saw it in Dallas, and then I saw it in New Jersey, and I kind of knew what to expect and it was happening all over again. I saw it coming, and some people will say that I was wrong, but now I have people come up to me and say, "I can’t believe you could see it happening before it happened."
