In Power Rankings, Up Then Down
You would have thought that the Nets would have gotten a boost from Saturday's win over the Bulls in Monday's Power Rankings, but then Ersanity happened on Sunday. Oh well. As a result, there was little movement in the rankings with the Nets hovering around No. 26, just above teams like the Hornets, Wizards and Bobcats. Ugh.
A lot of the underlying reasoning for the lack of movement is that everyone is waiting to see how long it will take for Brook Lopez to get back in game shape (looked like a long process Sunday). Also, there's this nagging March 15 date that everyone seems concerned about. Who knew?

Brook will be fine
I don’t know why anyone expected anything but rust in yesterday’s game. I think we’ll see the real Brook after the ASG. He was still aggressive and getting to the line, which is exactly what we need.
If he made his FT he woulda had a pretty decent debut

we have a serious chance to be ranked above the Raptors.
