While I think its amazing story how well Jeremy Lin has been playing, I can't believe how much its gotten out of control. He's been playing great (I'm not going to argue otherwise or try to explain why he stinks, because that is obviously not true), but I just don't understand why its sacregilous to talk about anything negative. For example, the fact that he had to be benched on Wednesday against Sacramento. You may disagree at first, but call it what it is...he got benched because he turned the ball over something like 3 or 4 straight possessions. You can say its because of the blowout, but if you were actually watching the game, you know Dantoni pretty much benched him so he wouldn't have a 10+ turnover night and ruin the magical story. Also, about 1/2 of his assists were easy lobs to a wide open player. And, he had about 4 or 5 other plays, just on Wednesday, where he lost the ball and it just seemed to richochet back to another Knicks player. While he definitely has some talent and has far exceeded any expectations, I thought he actually played pretty slopped on Wednesday (and in some other games). What does everyone else think? Am I alone on this?
