Nets Fans Which Would You Have Prefer?
Since there are many different opinions about our current situation, I thought maybe I should delve deeper into your minds.
1) Our Current Situation
The Nets are lead by Deron Williams arguably the Top 3 PGs in the game. Deron Williams's stats averages are 21.1 pts 3.3 rbs 8.5 asts per game. Though it is not certain the Deron Williams will commit to the Nets long term, The Nets are clearly front runners to acquire and the Preferred Destination for the league's Top #1 Center Dwight Howard, 20.1 pts 15.1 rbs 2.0 asts per game. Unfortunately due to vast injuries of many key players especially their young up and coming Center, Brook Lopez, the Nets current record is 8-22 and are in the 13 spot in the Eastern Conference Playoff Race.
2) The Alternative Situation
The Nets are lead by Devin Harris an Allstar two years ago he is a talented PG. Devin Harris' 2010/2011 stats are 15 pts 2.4 rbs 7asts per game. The Nets were in the Carmelo Anthony trade talks last year and have tried to be a player in the Dwight Howard Talks, but Howard has told the Nets he will NOT re-sign with them if traded there. Unfortunately with the vast injuries of many key players especially their young up and coming Center, Brook Lopez, the Nets current record is 8-22 and are in the 13 spot in the Eastern Conference Playoff Race.
Regardless of the Situation below still stands.
After the 2011/2012 Season, The Nets have a lot of cap space and young players to build around their current team. The Nets also have a bright future next season in the NEW Barclays Center.
Honestly, Which situation would you prefer?

No brainer
the first one. I really liked Devin Harris but he’s got some ways to go before he’s on Deron’s level. I also don’t mind giving up Favors. In my mind, the discussion between Favors vs Cousins, cousins won even though he has issues.
I fully believe we would’ve won a lot more games (5-6 games in all) if we had Lopez healthy from the start of the season. At our worst we’d be at least 14 and 21 or around that number. Much better than where we are now.
Easily the 1st choice
You combine Lopez and Deron and you get a very nice combo

Beware the Lopez

First..........
Never liked Harris. I was one of the MAIN people what wanted to drive him to Utah to keep him from breaking something. I see they have him on the block also. If they want to keep Earl Watson and Jamal Tinsley over him, what does that tell you?

It's not as much a question as what we'd rather prefer, but more like showing Nets fans how fortunate we are to be in this situation.
Agree with you 100%. Deron has made this team almost relevant again. Without him, the Nets would be in Brooklyn with…….. Devin Harris and Brook Lopez, instead of it possibly being Williams, Brooks, Howard AND Lopez. Nice FanPost.
