NBA Makes It Official: Morrow In Three-Point Contest

PrintThe NBA announced the participants for the Foot Locker Three-Point Contest on Wednesday. And as expected, the Nets' Anthony Morrow is in the field. Morrow, the second-best three-point shooter in NBA history, will join Ryan Anderson, Mario Chalmers, Joe Johnson and Kevin Love, as they challenge defending champion James Jones.
Of the group, Morrow has the second-most threes this season (behind Anderson) and the third-highest percentage.

but how is it that this is Morrow’s 1st invite despite having the 2nd highest 3pt % of all time, yet Kevin Love, who is playing for a losing team, gets an invite for shooting only 36%? Was there
NO ONEmore worthy? That’s total crap, and yet another great example of how biased the NBA really is.

I’m tired of seeing Heat players in 3pt contest during the last 6,7 years.
So many young people deserved more than Chalmers, like Meeks, Curry, George, Thornton, Lowry, etc…
Chalmers is just making really wide open jumpers from double teams on Big 3.

I questioned Chalmers at first too, but you can’t really argue with 2 3s per game on 46.3% shooting from the field (even if he gets completely wide open looks due to his teammates).

I have a good feeling about tonights game. That's why I bought tix.
I think D-Will will be a man possessed with 3 days off and all of these Lin questions. Marshon has had 3 days to shake the rust. Morrow is on a high from the 3pt selection.
Some guys like Stevenson, Hump, Morrow, etc will be a little amped up from seeing Brook get back into form.
