Brooks Tries To Get Over Rust
Since returning Friday from missing six games with a broken toe (and just before that three games with a bum achilles) MarShon Brooks has not seemed himself, being turnover-prone and tentative while scoring only 14 points in two games while shooting 4-for-14. So it's back to the gym.
"I’ve just got to get back in the gym, break a sweat, have the opportunity to shoot 200 or 300 shots back-to-back-to-back by myself and that’s all I’ll need," said Brooks. "I think after the three-day break, I’ll be all right.’’
Monday, the Nets plan a light workout with weight-training and some shootaround. Avery Johnson is planning an intense, training camp-style practice Tuesday before the Nets play five games in six days.

We know Marshon will work as hard as anyone to get back to where he was. Not worried about him at all.

OT (unless Marshon involved) but Broussard was just on Mike and Mike
and of course they asked about Dwight. Broussard said,
“Well I think he goes to Brooklyn at the trade deadline.”
And continued going on saying that’s his belief despite Devos saying he doesn’t want to trade Dwight and – most importantly – he didn’t mention any other teams. No Lakers, No Bulls, No Mavs.
Stephan A Smith said the same thing on Mike and Mike
Also said that’s where B Lo wants to be long run

If you have three days off, why would you have the “intense” practice on the last day before a five-in-six set?
There might be more to this
If it were really like that i think the players would have complained. I think Avery wants to get the team back to basics since our defense is horrendous and our shooting is terrible.
I'm trying to get over my ever growing apathy.
I want Brooks to play well, but the fact is he’s probably going to be in a different uniform after the deadline. That makes it extremely difficult for me to make any kind of emotional investment beyond the superficial (e.g. don’t tear your achilles, Marshon!). I felt similarly re: Favors last year. It was awful and i’m a little bitter about having to do it again.
The trade deadline can’t come fast enough. Until then, the team will be almost as difficult to watch as 12-70.
Oh pissing blimey there's jam coming out of the walls!
I hope we dont trade him ive been playing with the nets recently on 2k and they are finally giving him respect im tearing others teams up with the nets just hope we can get Dwight without giving up swag hes a special cheap young talent
