PrintIf the ever so possible outcome of falling short of dwight, and the loss of deron through free agency, i wanted to show what our lineup could look like...
Draft MKG and kendall Marshall with our picks
Marshall/farmar

Not including the free agents we could sign such as kidd, hinrich, mayo, grant hill, ebanks, garnett, duncan, kenyon martin, camby, asik, erden,

in that case we have marshon and lopez plus good draft picks in 2012 and 2013 plus capspace to add proven vets. i’m not concerned at all because the nba system is cyclical as far as success goes: you are good a couple of years, then you suck for a couple of years and then you are good again and we are overdue for a period good years again.
i doubt kidd would return here if this plan fails. Most free agents will avoid us
but I believe that this scenario is not happening. Nets are getting Dwight.
Kidd may come back to play back up PG if we get Dwight. I would welcome it so he can retire a Net.

i would trade morrow lopez and 1 draft pick for dwight howard and in the off season get kenyon martin and plus you would have draft picks you need excitment in the new arena you need fans to come to the new building .p.s we need to keep mr.brooks he is our future soon to be a allstar player
the previous deal with Orlando was 3 first rounders to PTO for Wallace. Orlando gets Wallace, Lopez and Morrow I believe, for Howard.

aba throwback uniforms
the nets have been in new jersy for 35 years the blue uniforms represents new york the white uniforms in the past represents the new jersey nets if would honor peolple like jason kidd martin carter. when there was excitment in the building the nets organizaion owe that to the new jersey nets fans who supported them this may years they been here
if that scenario happens.....
if howard is traded to another team besides the nets and says he wud resign then we trade deron in a heart beat. we cant risk losing him in free agency for nothing. we cud try to get him to pick up that 1 year option and c how it goes with hopefully a full healthy team in brklyn or beg him to pick up that option so we have more time to deal him next year otherwise we trade him and get watever we can
As much as I would like to see both MKG and Marshall on the Nets . . .
I would rather use both of those picks and some other peices to trade for the #1 overall pick.
We need to fill seats in Brooklyn and Davis/Drummond would fill more seats then having MKG and Marshall.
Twin Towers 2.0 in NYC with Lopez Davis/Drummond. Sounds pretty good
