I'm thinking.... Our future is bright
we will wind up with a stud in this year’s draft or with Dwight Howard.
2012 Lineup: D-Will - Brooks - AK47 - Lopez - D12... Book it!
he can't do anything
because he can’t motivate, evaluate talent, make a defensive scheme, or make an offensive scheme.
IT’S NOT HIS FAULT HE’S MOISO.

Seriously its the coaching
There are no offensive sets! Its the same every night…Farmar, Petro, etc hold the ball at the top of the key for 12 seconds… looking for someone to get open. They pass to Deron who dribbles for another 10 with an occasional drive…
Then one of three things happens:
-He turns it over
-He passes to a teammate that doesnt know what to do with it and turns it over
-He passes to a teammate that misses a layup
-He launches a brik
Thats it. Thats our offense.
Tell me why cant Deron who is an all star drive and score like Jeremy Lin is doing surrounded by scrubs? Melo and Amare are out so they have nobody. That doesnt affect him at all and plays with heart and score or draws fouls at will.
Marshon VS Iman: Bring the rivalry on my nuiikkkass!!!
That is totally it.
Lin definitely plays with more heart. I’m glad you could diagnose this.
I typed your symptoms into this thing up here and it says you could have network connectivity problems.
some decent points, but Chandler is more of an interior threat than ANYONE on this team.
He’s obviously not known for his offense, but he still blows anyone we’ve got on the inside out of the water. I think he’s helping Lin a LOT more than people are really acknowledging.
The Knicks team/bench...
is gold compared to the turd we have here.
It is definitely his heart though, good call.

in Avery's defense
our D scheme is far worse and the players stop trying every third game.

STOP RIPPING FRANK
it’s not his fault they dealt Rip or Villanueva is out. If the Pistons can’t compete against the Nets it’s because they have a team of D-Leaguers around Monroe.

i vomitted a little in my mouth
watching the basketball we played in the first half. we made the pistons look like a playoff ready team. Nothing is working.
As for those who say fire avery, honestly it’s a little more than that.
Humprhies – he would normally have at least 3 or 4 buckets by the 2nd quarter that normally go down. tonight he was blocked i think 3 times already by the half. he got to the line twice but short of the one rejection early he’s been ineffective tonight.
Jordan Farmar – for every 4-6 points farmar makes, he also makes 1 TO. He’s done it all season. He’s shooting well however and if he continues to splash those threes go ahead and take that shot.
Deron Williams – sloppy play so far. He is playing with no energy tonight, like he already gave up before the game started. I hope the second half he brings it and starts draining points. I know it has to be frustrating scoring big numbers night after night and not getting the win but his job is to go out there and play hard regardless. we aren’t expecting a win every night, but we are expecting you to play better tonight, especially with the loss to them a couple days ago.
Marshon Brooks – glad he’s healthy and back, injury seems to be behind him. Still he had multiple turnovers and basically offensivle ineffective. hopefully the rust will wear off soon. he looks shook on the court. need to get his swag back after the injury.
with all that you get 19 points behind a detroit pistons.
yes but its the coaches job to motivate the team by naking them believe they are good. this game is about confidence and avery is too technical

and here's the thing
for someone who is paraded as a “defensive mind”, you should be able to take ANY NBA talent and at least get them to play SOME defense… if Avery is coaching the worst defense in the league, and he doesn’t know offense, why is he here? he holds literally no value, and while i was upset when we hired him, i’m furious now

WHEN YOU DESCRIBE the prototypical NBA center, he is not complete without superlative size, strength and athleticism. He’ll fight for the tough rebounds in the trenches, but is just as quick to burn you with a shot from 15 feet.
Johan Petro possesses all of these skills and more, and bears all the promise of fulfilling his vast potential.

draft a young pg in the draft, keep Brook and Brooks
THAT'S IT. I'VE HAD ENOUGH.
I will not watch Nets basketball until after a trade or something. I deserve better than this. Peace out.
It takes a true dunce to blame petro for this
Derons sloppy turnovers, as usual, were the start of the downfall this game. They are playing lazy, like they dont care. What is petro supposed to do, the team is horrendous.
Even the Yes guys were all about Lin at Halftime
This marginal player, typical of the knicks hype machine
he sure isnt playing like one
NY likes players that come out of nowhere, just look at how popular Victor Cruz is
18 pts and 5 assists in a half against the Lakers...
…is quite worthy of hype. Its only his fourth game playing heavy minutes.
Its funny....
…Proky wanted to turn Knicks fans into Nets fans…
Instead, all we did is to enable them to basically become the most popular basketball team in the world overnight.

Lakers are shooting 31%
Lin has really improved the Knicks D.
Oh pissing blimey there's jam coming out of the walls!
Not only is Jeremy Lin good but the league is making sure he scores big points
He is getting phantom calls like crazy!

I just laugh. I laugh.
Official Member of DO NOT TRADE MARSHON Society!
To be successful, apparently Avery's Defense System requires it to be manned by NBA All-Defensive Team.
I've seen Lin get to the rim more in this game
Than DWill has in a long time.
Oh pissing blimey there's jam coming out of the walls!
he doesn't have evryone callape on him in the paint

Not necessarily. He's also quick enough to get there. It's not like Lin is playing with Melo/Amare.
DWill looks to have lost a step.
Oh pissing blimey there's jam coming out of the walls!
That burst that your talking about form dwill
will be there when the nets begin to resemble an NBA team. He gets his burst from getting his assists and right now all the guys do is miss.

I can't wait to see him in a Nets jersey.
Who cares about Lin?

He is pretty annoying.

After what i saw tonight... i highly doubt Dwight still want to be here
In fact the latest report of him wanting us was so long ago that im starting to think we might no longer top his list.
Marshon VS Iman: Bring the rivalry on my nuiikkkass!!!
lol, ok
he knows the Nets sacrificed the season for him, it’s really only a matter of time.

im sure dwight is aware of the reason why we suck so bad right now
we didnt make any moves at all to make our team bettter all because of him. Lets just relax and wait. Things are going so bad right now, they will eventually turn around for us, just have a little bit of faith
Sick and tired of being sick and tired of these NETS.
The only thing keeping me hanging is that this is still better than 12-70.
I don’t know if there is anything else to keep me afloat.
And can we please not talk about Jeremy Freaking Lin. Fubar him and it’s NIX.
WHAT? HOW is this better than 12-70?
Fire Johnson and hire Van Gundy - I'm telling you Thorn was smoking something when he let Van Gundy slip away in the night.

This is getting out of hand
My Knicks fan friend said the Knicks have the best PG in the tri-State…

people, especially Nets fans, are letting this get to them too much
kid can ball yes, but I assure you this will not last. If it does, doesn’t matter, Deron Williams, MarShon Brooks and Dwight Howard will blow the Knicks out of the water.
We'll Be Fine.

Its not like they weren't doing that earlier...
…the guy can flat out get into the paint and finish.
deron should keep his mouth shut from now on, saying the pistons are a team they should beat, the pistons just smacked the nets on the side of the head two games in a row
the guy is alllll talk, shut up and play deron.
He was right.
They did not do it, but he was right.
