I'm thinking.... Our future is bright

we will wind up with a stud in this year’s draft or with Dwight Howard.

2012 Lineup: D-Will - Brooks - AK47 - Lopez - D12... Book it!

he can't do anything

because he can’t motivate, evaluate talent, make a defensive scheme, or make an offensive scheme.

IT’S NOT HIS FAULT HE’S MOISO.

FIRE AVERY

by calling all toasters on Feb 10, 2012 8:55 PM EST reply actions   2 recs

Seriously its the coaching

There are no offensive sets! Its the same every night…Farmar, Petro, etc hold the ball at the top of the key for 12 seconds… looking for someone to get open. They pass to Deron who dribbles for another 10 with an occasional drive…

Then one of three things happens:

-He turns it over
-He passes to a teammate that doesnt know what to do with it and turns it over
-He passes to a teammate that misses a layup
-He launches a brik

Thats it. Thats our offense.

Tell me why cant Deron who is an all star drive and score like Jeremy Lin is doing surrounded by scrubs? Melo and Amare are out so they have nobody. That doesnt affect him at all and plays with heart and score or draws fouls at will.

That is totally it.

some decent points, but Chandler is more of an interior threat than ANYONE on this team.

He’s obviously not known for his offense, but he still blows anyone we’ve got on the inside out of the water. I think he’s helping Lin a LOT more than people are really acknowledging.

it’s not his fault they dealt Rip or Villanueva is out. If the Pistons can’t compete against the Nets it’s because they have a team of D-Leaguers around Monroe.

i vomitted a little in my mouth

watching the basketball we played in the first half. we made the pistons look like a playoff ready team. Nothing is working.

As for those who say fire avery, honestly it’s a little more than that.

Humprhies – he would normally have at least 3 or 4 buckets by the 2nd quarter that normally go down. tonight he was blocked i think 3 times already by the half. he got to the line twice but short of the one rejection early he’s been ineffective tonight.

Jordan Farmar – for every 4-6 points farmar makes, he also makes 1 TO. He’s done it all season. He’s shooting well however and if he continues to splash those threes go ahead and take that shot.

Deron Williams – sloppy play so far. He is playing with no energy tonight, like he already gave up before the game started. I hope the second half he brings it and starts draining points. I know it has to be frustrating scoring big numbers night after night and not getting the win but his job is to go out there and play hard regardless. we aren’t expecting a win every night, but we are expecting you to play better tonight, especially with the loss to them a couple days ago.

Marshon Brooks – glad he’s healthy and back, injury seems to be behind him. Still he had multiple turnovers and basically offensivle ineffective. hopefully the rust will wear off soon. he looks shook on the court. need to get his swag back after the injury.

with all that you get 19 points behind a detroit pistons.

and here's the thing

for someone who is paraded as a “defensive mind”, you should be able to take ANY NBA talent and at least get them to play SOME defense… if Avery is coaching the worst defense in the league, and he doesn’t know offense, why is he here? he holds literally no value, and while i was upset when we hired him, i’m furious now

remember this game cuz

when we finally have a respectable team that can dribble a basketball, we will be the fans that will reap the most benefits because we will be the loyal ones who went through all of this crap, and came out alive on the other end. we are the true fans of the nets and when all the bandwagoners hop on board we can say how agonizing it was sitting through this and they will have no clue because they weren’t here.
