When that trade deadline rolls around,

I want to see some changes.

As we have seen from the last few games, Hump is expendable. Reggie Evans was more than filled in and last game, in the lost, 18 rebounds. Hump rebounds and has some offense, but Evans is a much better rebounder and although limited on offense, his high basketball IQ makes up of his lack of offensive production. He doesn't try to make shots. He kicks out and has the PG call the play.

As for Childress, I have seen nothing from him. He is a rebound and a point in 8 minutes of play. I know his contract is not much, but he not worth it. The minutes that he is receiving is not worth the production, or lack there of.

As for the minute distribution, Brooks, while he is perceived to has defensive struggles, he has the highest FG% out of all the shooters (Reggie has highest, but he is not an offensive juggernaut), the highest 3P% out of all the regulars (Toko has highest, but he's 1-1), and he has the highest Offensive Rating at 119. By the way, his defensive rating sits at 106, which is better than DWill at 108, Joe Johnson at 111, CJ at 109, Stack at 110, Childress at 108, Toko at 113, and Bogans at 110. Granted, there are other ways to look at defensive efficiency, but these stats do matter. Marshon, at the very least, deserves to be playing more than Stack.

As for trade bait, I believe Joe Johnson (20 games in and has showed nothing), CJ (ball dies in his hands and is not a great distributor), Childress, Bogan (not the defensive speacialist he is cracked out to be), Stack (sell high or keep him as a mentor with very limited minutes), and Hump (big price for a man who is outclassed by Evans) moved if possible. I understand that Johnson, probably, will not be moved, but still, I had to include him for his failings this year. If we are able to trade for a defensively minded PF, it would help Lopez and improve the team's ability. I also believe that we should either try to secure a shooter (a Morrow-type) or see what Tele can do (he is over here to play and once he is conditioned, I would like to see him get playing time).

I believe in this team and it's core of players. I believe in DWill, Lopez, Wallace, Brooks, Blatche, and the unproven guys (Tele, Talyor, and Toko), but I feel as those there are some players on this roster who do not contribute at the level necessary to compete for a championship.

That's all I have, thanks.
