The Celtics are coming back to town on Christmas Day but so will our Loud & Proud 'Brooklyn Block Party' --- let's make sure the Celtics (and their fans) know that the Brooklyn Nets and their fans won't be in the spirit of giving.
This L&P will work differently from the others -- from now on, we'll be announcing a particular section at Barclays where we'd like to focus our efforts and those who would like to participate will be responsible for purchasing their own tickets. After looking at StubHub, targeting Section 202 (upper level) looks like a good idea -- many tickets still available in the lower rows for under $100 and on the side of the court where the Celtics will be shooting in the 2nd half.
If there are 20 or more people willing to commit to paying $200 for a ticket in the lower bowl (section 3 or 29), I'd be happy to arrange a group ticket purchase (I'll bring your ticket to the arena and you can reimburse me when you receive your ticket in person) -- I'll check for availability on Monday. Having a presence in the lower bowl would be great because not only would it be easier for us to make ourselves heard but we'd also be more visible -- a great opportunity for people to bring signs to share some choice 'seasons greetings' with Rondo, KG, and Paul Pierce that will likely get attention on the big screen in the arena.
As always, please share any questions or comments below. Thanks! And please indicate below if you're interested in participating in a L&P group in the lower bowl for $200 per seat (group ticket pricing).
Let's Go Brooklyn! Let's Go Nets!
