First he only played 22:47 in the first game and now he is benched at the end of this game, and the Nets lost because of it.
I am not exaggerating, I am not guessing, they lost because Kris Humphries was not on the floor. Brooklyn may not have rallied to win with him on the floor, they may have, they may not, but it was clear they lost when he came out.
You are getting outworked in the paint all night. You can't stop them from getting offensive rebounds and you can't stop them from scoring in the paint. So, what does Avery Johnson do? He pulls him and moves Joe Johnson to power forward!!!!
What? You are getting outworked all night by their frontcourt so you put an aging shooting guard at PF?
I understand that Kris had two bad turnovers, but you have to let the team play, and you have to let the guys make mistakes. It was so easy for Minnesota to defend the Nets at the end when they only had Brook Lopez on the floor, because they knew the four guards were not going to drive in.
Avery Johnson, I've defended you, but this loss is on you.
