NBA scouts don't normally identify themselves at Euroleague games, but some were certainly on hand Thursday to watch two of the top Euro-Stash go up against each other. The Nets Bojan Bogdanovic, a 6'8" swingman, faced off against the Bulls Nikola Mirotic, a 6'10" power forward. Both finished with 18 points but Mirotic's Real Madrid mounted a late drive and beat Fenerbahce 77-61.
Bogdanovic, who played 37 out of 40 minutes, had a better shooting night as he continues to be Fener's go-to guy. He shot 7-for-9, including 3.-for-4 from deep. He went to the line twice, low for him, and made one. Mirotic, who the Bulls won't see for another two years, shot 7-for-13, 2-for4 from deep. Mirotic also had six boards and two assists. Bogdanovic had two rebounds and two steals. Ilkan Karaman scored four points, but was unable to grab any boards.
