Before the Nets' players were introduced on Saturday, the Nets' had another introduction to make. It was their new mascot BrooklyKnight, designed by Marvel comics, who descended from the Barclays Center ceiling.
Fans at the game also received a copy of "BrooklyKnight #1," a comic book written by Jason Aaron and illustrated by Mike Deodato.
"BrooklyKnight is a superior combination of strength, power, and confidence," Brett Yormark said in the team's press release. "Sounds just like Brooklyn to me."
