Debby Wong-US PRESSWIRE

Reggie Evans has some flopping company in the Nets' locker room.

Surprise. Between getting a medical update on Brook Lopez and waiting to hear what penalties the league will levy on the Nets and Celtics, there was another piece of news Thursday: the league warned Gerald Wallace that he has violated the league's new flopping rules. The warning was based on a play involving Wallace and Carmelo Anthony late in the Nets win over the Knicks Monday night. A second violation would bring a fine of $5,000.

Reggie Evans has already been fined $5,000 by the league for flopping against the Lakers last week. He became the first player fined under the rules instituted this summer. Wallace and he are now the first teammates to be accused of flopping. Both Evans and Wallace have reputations as tough players.
