All five Brooklyn Nets starters on NBA All-Star ballot

For the first time in memory, all five Nets starters are on the NBA All-Star ballot. Deron Williams and Joe Johnson are among the guards on the ballot and Brook Lopez, Kris Humphries and Gerald Wallace are among the front court players. The position of center was eliminated this season.

Johnson has been an All-Star the last six seasons, Deron Williams has been selected three times and Wallace once for a total of 10 times. For the last several years, the Nets have had no more than three players on the ballot.

Balloting began Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. and will conclude on January 14. NBA All-Star Balloting presented by Sprint gives fans around the world the opportunity to vote daily for their favorite players as starters for the 2013 NBA All-Star Game in Houston. For the first time ever, NBA fans can vote via social media networks, including Facebook and Twitter, and Sina Weibo and Tencent QQ in China.

The 62nd NBA All-Star Game will be televised on TNT from Toyota Center on Sunday, February 17, 2013.
