Avery Johnson is a joke, he drove the Mavericks to the ground, then have Billy King who screwed the 76ers and will screw the Nets before all is said and done….and we have an owner Prokorov who is more concerned about running for president, he could care less about this team….If our coaches and owners are bad, how can we expect our players to be good at anything??

if you listened to DWill in WFAN interview right after the lockout…his tone of voice regarding the available big men — Chanlder, Nene…etc. — DWill didn’t sound sold on those guys. When asked about AK47…his comment was, “he’s good…for the right price”

They were just the best talent available at positions of need for the Nets.

anyone who says “dwight is not coming here” because of the guys that have been playing thus far this year are foolish.
we’re losing these games for a reason. and the reason is that BK has stripped this team down to the bare minimum to keep ALL trade scenarios open for dh12. That is the first and only priority.
So if dh12 comes here he won’t be stuck with these guys as a finished product. pairing him with deron is the first and toughest part. finding the right role players is the easy part.
so its ridiculous to say that he won’t come here. the only player on the entire team he gives a damn about is deron.

Morrow, Shawne Williams, etc. are spot up shooters who usually need wide open shots to get them in. But, we need more players to break down the defense for those players to flourish. Maybe once Brook gets back we will be better suited with these guys that we have right now. Jordan Williams looked decent rebounding.

These losses are so lopsided, it is hard to judge this team as a finished product.
Obviously there are a ton of issues plaguing the Nets. Injuries, lack of chemistry, limbo, no practice. It all adds up. So everybody relax, and enjoy the carnage.

chandler was supposed to be the defensive difference...
Yet, the hornets just put up 118 on the knicks… wow… 15 million a year
Bobcats, but, either way he was not worth that type of committment. He is a really good energy guy, rebounder and defender.
BUT, he is limited if the players around him don’t buy in and committ like the Mavericks did last year. Then he is not as effective.

And Dirk improved his defense before Chandler ever got there and could hold his position well enough.
Chandler and Stephenson just added to that mix.
Knicks aren’t quite as loaded as the Mavs were , but they still need a Chandler type player to man the paint.
