So this guy said last yr when the melodrama was going that nobody cares about the nets, but yet he has the coach of the nets on..what?
no comment
he also regularly trashes the idea that Barclays Center and Brooklyn will change the Nets reputation, that it’s always going to be Knicks town.
The idea that the Nets are the standard of mediocrity galls me. Knicks havent won a playoff game in a DECADE and ARE the most overrated franchise in sports, as Michael Wilbon has put it.
"It's as sweet as it ever was, I'll tell you. Now, hopefully, we started something and we can win some more championships, but we're going to enjoy this one right now. Have a little champagne." --Julius Erving, May 12, 1976, ABA champion Nets locker room.
It should go without saying that he doesn't think much of Brook Lopez.
I wonder if he has enough consideration to focus on Brook Lopez returning to near All Star form before the trade deadline, as that is what would determine whether Howard would be traded and Nets would be then be competitive with Knicks in all ways.
Yeah I dont understand any of the Nets on Mikes show
The guy pretty much hates anything outside of Yankees, Giants and occasionally well thats it really.
Mike is the biggest ahole in the media
why anyone listens to this jerk is beyond me. the hatred that I have for this man is unrivaled. listening to him attempt to talk basketball should be mildly entertaining but I won’t listen. I refuse to give that JO the ratings.
I love the Nets...too bad they don't love me...
I don't pay attention to francesa with basketball
when asked to comment on a possible d-will/dwight combination “those are the two hardest positions to fill, PG and C”. Gee thanks Mike, i didn’t know that. But thank you for the detailed analysis. I understand he got his recognition from college basketball but some of his comments can rival Michael Kay’s ignorance.
