PrintI finally made my first fan post here. Been following this blog, just reluctant to make an acct :D
BTW I really do enjoy reading everything here, and like the possibilities what this nets can do this season and for the future. We do really making improvements and have a bright future with DWILL(very possible that he'll resign). Marshon's game is very interesting, more on is offensive end, and if DH12 would be traded or fall to nets via FA, it would be like stockton-malone combo(but it would be all alley-oops lol).
PS: Don't mind my bad english :D

I’m optimistic that D-Will will re-sign either way (D12 or No D12). By the way, both scenario for Nets are OK. If we don’t get D12, we have Brook, Brooks, and 2012 first rounder, lot of cap space to sign a strong FA.

hope brooks is not included tho, he really is special, ala kobe. Yep, we could have won that game. But every time I look at the standings, it makes me feel better. 2 games out of the playoff spot, not bad lol.

Hey guys, do you really have to put focus on your ethinicity? Okay, so you’re “pinoy”, so what? I would think that EVERYONE here are NJ Nets fans. Being a “pinoy” fan doesn’t make you any better than other fans, so why the distinction?
And as a reminder, if the Nets don’t get Dwight, it doesn’t mean we’ll have Brook Lopez. Remember, Nets didn’t extend his contract.
But can you imagine… with all the talent the Knicks have on their team, look how “well” they’re playing. Not much better than the Nets. Nets need to get rid of Sundiata Gaines. Everytime he plays, he hogs the ball. He can’t even shoot from the foul line.
Nets need to keep Farmar and Brooks. D Will needs to do less razzle dazzle with the basketball, cuz it usually leads to his turnovers.
Should the Nets bring Kidd back as backup to D Williams? It would be nice, if he was as good as in years past, but he’s breaking down, so I don’t know.
Maybe the Nets should make an offer to Allen Iverson :P
By the way, Pinoys, hope y’all weren’t offended. We just need to stop distancing ourselves from one another by putting people in “categories” and just accept one another as Fans.

as for me, Nets making an offer for AI would be useless. He’s a combo guard right?how ‘bout and Farmar? Brooks? It would just hinder their development, I think. AI is used to play w/ the ball on his hands, and the age factor? C’mon, DWill’s here, this team badly needs an SF or C/PF a big body that can somewhat play, bring some D, and is a reliable rebounder(Lopez should also develop this when he returns).
’bout bringing back JKidd, yep it would be nice. But I would rather have a young back-up PG, that would bring energy off the bench than the aging JKidd(I do really respect this player).

Sure they could sign Lopez, but Brook also has the freedom to go elsewhere. Plus he’s disappointed they didn’t resign him.
I only mentioned AI cuz he’d probably come at a cheap price.
And I know that’s not what you initially intended, but suddenly non-Filipinos turn away from this thread because they can’t relate. They probably have no idea what a Pinoy is.

I am from the Bay Area, anyways and I have NBA league pass and NBA gametime in my iPhone.
Iv’e been a Nets fan since Kenny Anderson was drafted. I consider Brooklyn as my hometown although I moved there in 87 from Manila.

Great win tonight despite being shorthanded. Been a Nets fan since Buck Williams era and a die hard fan since JKidd’s arrival. and. . . . .soon to be a rabid Dwill and D12 fan. ; )

To realize there many of us rooting for the Nets. Been long suffering fan from Kittles time thru the exhilirating Kidd era and now suffering again. Hope there is a way to get Howard. It will be great if Howard becomes a free agent. In that case we don’t have to trade Brook. The Nets have all money to sign Howard, Brook and DWill. Cross our finger.
