This game is awful.
Nets are playing without any energy. Seems like they were a little bit too overconfident. Avery’s line-ups are horrible. I can’t believe we’re going to lose. This one of those games that were winnable but the Nets being the Nets it always happens.

I really don’t see why we would lose this one.
We have beaten them before. This time we don’t have to worry about Bargnani. Stevenson has shut down DeRozan, who has been in a slump. As said above, Raps are 0-7 without Bargnani, and Deron is 14-0 vs Toronto. This should be win number 8.

This is going to be an easy win at home vs. the Raps without Bargnani. Looking forward to seeing MarShon back on the court, even in a limited role.
The Nets are going to need these easy wins because starting on February 11th they play at home vs. the Spurs and Grizzlies, away versus the Pacers and Bulls, home for the Bucks, the Garden versus the Knicks, the Magic at home and Dallas on the road.
After that dust settles we’ll see if the Nets are actually a potential playoff squad. It’s way too early in the season for anyone to even be excited about where we are in the standings.

Gosh. It’s one game that we just got overconfident for, we’re not the worst team in the league all of the sudden. I still think playoffs is 100% reasonable, with or without D12.
All this negativity just makes losses that much more frustrating. It’s really not the end of the world.

It was the worst game we’ve played this year, by far. But it’s also not the end of the world, and having one bad game (albeit a horrendous one) does not make us an awful team.
