J-Will Recalled as Armor Blown Out

Jordan Williams is headed back to New Jersey, he announced via Twitter Saturday night after his last game with the Armor. It wasn't a memorable one. J-Will played only 21 minutes, went scoreless, grabbed two rebounds and finished with a plus/minus rating of -31. For Williams and the Nets, those numbers are meaningless. The numbers that count are the minutes he played in Springfield (192) and the lack of healthy bodies in Newark.

Four members of the Armor had -25 ratings or worse for Saturday's game, a 127-88 blowout at the hands of the Reno Bighorns in Springfield. The game was the scene of an historic moment in D-League history. Reno guard Blake Ahearn extended his record consecutive made free throw streak to 103 with four makes, including No. 100. L.D. Williams and JamesOn Curry led the Armor with 17 each. The Armor are now 13-13.

Nothing against JW but the team could use a center with Okur out imo

nah Brook will be back soon they just need someone to plug the hole.

And as was said getting Kaman could hurt chemistry & flexibility going forward.

Level 1: success. Level 2: adaptation. Level 3: perception. Level 4: explosion. Level 5: domination. I’m talking about going OVER the top. The new J-will.

Your welcome.

I'm much less worried about his stats than his game

All I want to know is that they called Avery and said,“This kid is working hard, he’s in good shape, he’s aggressive and he’s picking up our system quickly.”

I actually think he can play some relief C if he has to.

Okur
Hump
Shelden
J-Will

is a decent big man rotation until Brook is back.

i'm 90% sure i'm going tomororw

but there’s no reason not to late til the last minute to get tickets. at the most I’ll pay like $5 for lower bowl seats, 1/6 the cost of the train ride to get there.

New Story about Jayson Williams in the Post

Story about Jayson Williams’ life in prison. Apparently he’s writing a second book…regardless of how you feel about him, you must check out his first book, Loose Balls. One of the funniest and best accounts of life in the NBA.

tickets for tonight's game

is it really 1$ and 10$ for lower baseline seats?

Not that I care very much but

stubhub is the cheapest place to get tickets? Are tickets cheaper closer to the time or further way time wise to the game. I remember somone posting something likes this that only games like the heat got more exspensive at the time. True?

“He came out and battled through it,” Deron Williams said. “He’s a warrior.”

“He means an awful lot,” Johnson said of Humphries. "He’s a hard-hat guy. Here’s a guy, he earned a day off [Saturday].
