Contingency Plan Ideas (Put them all here)
We've been getting a lot of "contingency plan" FanPosts, and most of them are pretty far-fetched. So to keep the homepage from getting overrun with them, please put your ideas here in the comments. New "contingency plan" FanPosts will be removed.

So in the case that D-12 goes to Lakeshow and we do NOT trade D-Will at the deadline we hopefully will have a couple of scenarios in place to attempt to convince D-Will we can still build a winner
here is one such idea
Javale McGee maybe 8-10 mill per.....the Wiz are TERRIBLE so far this year and that team needs to be deconstructed....hopefully the Wiz will think this way also and decide not to match(big if)..despite this Javale is a solid defender, rebounder, shot blocker, he more mobile than Brook which would help in him playing along side Brook...kid has high potential and probably would benefit from a change in cultureBatum or G.Wallace 8-10 mill per....the SF we lack....great defenders....can score from the perimeter and can also attack the basket....the Blaze are likely not going to keep both so we swoop in whoever is left out....but I would prefer Batum
then resign Hump and Shelden and Stevenson for depth
maybe take a look at J.Kidd if Dallas doesnt keep him
Dwill, Kidd, (maybe Farmer)
Brooks, Morrow
one of the SF, Kidd-Gilchrist, D.James
Lopez, Hump, Shelden
McGee,
should be a nice starting point going into BK and will probably be a 6-8 seed in the playoffs

By looking at how we are playing now.
I doubt the team you’ve assembled woudl even make the playoffs
i respectfully disagree
and we are actually playing fairly well right now

d will isnt going to stay if we are anywhere between the 5-8 seed. THe only year we can get away with being a low playoff seed is this year!
with a Dirk who already admitted to not being that motivated anymore cuz he won a ring already

its not like his Jazz team were top 4 seeds his entire career

Don’t want to see Lopez guarding 4’s and McGee is a low IQ player anyway. Wallace would be a good fit for the team though.

im just curious
i have been reading about some trade proposals by nets fans, and they all have one thing in common, all the trades are to get younger either by draft picks or rookies.. com’on, dwill with or w/out howard needs at least a veteran borderline allstar.. it cant be dwill plus the young ones.. dwill is in a win now mode. i think if nets get howard, they should sign kg+ray allen+sf then a bench of farmar, james, petro and some veterans minimum

I would love to see KG play in Brooklyn next year!
If we don’t land D12 I would be more then fine with the following additions
Gerald Wallace (Player option)
KG (Unrestricked)
Kidd (Unrestricted)
Wouldn't mind adding Wallace, McGee, 1rst pick, and Kidd to
Lopez, Brooks,Hump,Morrow,Stevenson,James.
Lineup:
Deron/Kidd
Brooks/Morrow
Wallace/James/1rst pick
McGee/Hump/Sheldon
Lopez/Memo/Petro (unless wecould move his expiring)
McGee may be a bit of a knucklehead
But this team has some solid leadership in Kidd, Deron and Wallace. With proper mentoring, he could tap into full potential. Gives a very good rotaion of bigs.
Chris Kaman
Nets need center, and clear 7 mil in contracts
Kaman=Expiring
Hornets get young players
Farmar, morrow etc.
