J-Will Gets 16 and 11 for Armor
Jordan Williams played his first game in the D-League Thursday night, scoring 16 points and grabbing 11 rebounds in the Armor's dramatic last second win over the Maine Red Claws. Williams started slowly, as did the Armor, coming back from an 11-point fourth quarter deficit.
With time running out, L.D. Williams slammed home a missed jump shot as the final horn sounded to break a tie game and vault the Armor to a 93-91 victory over the Red Claws inside the MassMutual Center. Dennis Horner, who was waived by the Nets to make room for Larry Owens, was at the game but did not play. JamesOn Curry returned from an injury but shot 1-for-11.

most emotion he has EVER shown
"It's as sweet as it ever was, I'll tell you. Now, hopefully, we started something and we can win some more championships, but we're going to enjoy this one right now. Have a little champagne." --Julius Erving, May 12, 1976, ABA champion Nets locker room.

Hard to believe he got ejected for simply throwing the ball. If it were anyone other than Favors I’d assume he said something to the ref too

Still got Deron off of him, its about potential, IDN if Utah would have taken a chance on Cousins
by RandyOreens on Jan 20, 2012 12:46 AM EST up reply actions
detroit wanted cousins bad at #3. i wanted to trade down with them that year...
get their #8 pick and a future (possibly this year) first round pick…
Who could we have gotten from them? They have nothing I would want

He is a bust? really?
We think the world of Hump, Favors could easily be a 12 rebound a game guy and a top defender. He is 20 years old lets see him when he’s 22-25
extremely similar body types
not to mention at the pre draft combine, Favors eclipsed most of Howards #’s.
Body types mean nothing, you need the drive and skill set..Brandon Wright, Tyrus Thomas, Tyson Chandler all atheltic guys who never took the step to be a star

again
He’s 20 years old. How can you say he’s not gonna take the next step? He had one year at college. Whats your logic?
I dont know how he will pan out, my personal feeling is he wont..what makes you think he will?
IMO he sucks and is a bust, didnt want him when we drafted him..look at Brooks this year he is better than our 3rd pick last year..Favors career high with us was like 12 and he never effected the game for us.
King wouldnt have drafted Favors you can bet on that

repect your opinion
however Favors is what is known as a project type player, really a boom or bust type. You won’t know exactly what you have until you get 3+ years in the league. Think about a guy such as Cousins. you knew exactly what you would get from him but his potential is limited. Favors on the other hand, has the athleticism similar to Dwight, was stronger then Dwight when Dwight first came out and had almost the same Vertical and reach. Favors Potential was greater then nearly anyone in that draft, excluding may John Wall. If given time Favors could shed some of the little baby fat, finish growing and add some serious muscle to an already solid frame. His game will be much easier to work on IMO just because he is soo teachable and is willing to do whatever to help the team
who knows
this kid reminded me of Jason Pierre Paul some what. Really raw but if you get him to click, its awesome and almost unstoppable but if you dont get all the things to work correctly he could turn out like Kwame Brown or Tyrus Thomas. Potentially worse
Maybe he wont pan out but how the hell is he a bust after 1 year?
Makes no sense. Not only 1 Year of NBA basketball but 1 year of college so 2 years of high level basketball and he is a bust? 2 years of high level basketball and is 20 years old AND didnt have a training camp. Way to early to call this guy a bust
V.C happened
You have no respect for Vince’s game . Vince quietly ran the team while trying to let Harris shine.

Thats the only sports team they have, plus no other NBA team near them. plus its a boring city where there is nothing else to do
Ive been there a lot

we would have a nice crowd
but theres really nothing to watch lol. When Brook comes back there should be a nice boost to attendence
nets have great fans IMO, but Nets haven’t really put together a nice team in yrs…
Jazz are competitive every yr.

OMG
It was so loud!!! I remembe it like yesterday….
as we nets fans exited they sang to some raptors fans…“Nah nah nah….hey hey hey….good bye”

LMAO Harris 0-7 just airballs a 3 that could help his team..he is awful
Dont miss him at all
i think
he started to shy away from contact and that took away from his driving ability, which was his best feature
He just lost some physical ability as well he used to be super quick but has lost a step

Paul from Sunny Delray Beach, Florida
after all this we r 11th in the east....
im surprised how bad the conference is……
Dwight or bust....
Superbowl or bust...
Jwill desperately needed this.
He needed to get himself in basketball shape and get his legs back under him. I have a feeling we’ll need some minutes from him later on this season, and I’d much rather see him on the floor than Petro.
