The Jazz gets all their points from high-percentage shots...
Trying to rely on a low percentage shot to come back is suicidal. Sorry to say it but we aren’t going to shoot >50% 3-pt %age every game.

It's the zone they are in.
Mike Fratello pointed it out last year that Avery’s zone defense leaves 3 point shooters wide open. No idea why they don’t change it or tweak it.
reminds me of Kurt Rambis and his stupid zone he ran in Minnesota
that left perimeter shooters wide open but clogged the lane.
End Result: Minnesota was one of the worst teams guarding the 3 and were always at the bottom of the league in PPG allowed

I swear AJ is a terrible coach.
We may be bad but there is absolutely no system on offense. We don’t have any semblance of ball movement or shot creation. It may work if you have three superstars but we don’t even have one.

if I was on an NBA team I’d want him as a coach. He mentors the players and gives everyone a fair shot. He’s still trying to form a team, does a lot of experimenting. Long term he’ll be a great coach.
