Here are my New Year’s rooting resolutions:

I will be patient with the players (except Petro), and even with Avery. I will try to stop automatically recommending any comment that says "Fire Avery."

I will not use the term "swag,” and will help to find a nickname for MarShon that is not generic. Did you know his middle name is Scitif? Really. Also, “Thank You Based God” will reach its expiration date at the end of January.

I will learn to Photoshop and make gifs, but will try to not add to our collection of “are you moisoing me” facial expressions.

Which reminds me: I will stop using “moiso.” “Outlaw” feels much more like a curse to me. When that doesn't catch on, I'll quietly drop it then go back to “moiso.”

I will be Loud and Proud no matter where I sit in the Rock-- and even at home..

I will visit Barclays at least once before it is finished.

If Brook gets traded, I will be happy for us landing Dwight. If he doesn’t get traded, I will be happy my favorite Net is still with us.

I will stop using NetsDaily as a substitute for heroin.

I will be grateful that we have a 2011-2012 season.
