Kevin Pelton of Basketball Prospectus, writing for ESPN, thinks that Travis Outlaw is one of three NBA players to make a big jump next season...along with Patrick Patterson and Jodie Meeks, all in the 220-260 range of ESPN.com's Player Rankings. They all "look primed to jump up the list," writes Pelton.

Pelton's analysis of Outlaw is damning with faint praise. "Here's the good news for Nets fans pondering four more years of Outlaw: He can't possibly be this bad again. Avery Johnson could help that process by giving Outlaw more minutes at power forward, where he was at his best in Portland but scarcely played last season."
