Frank Trying to Reassemble 12-70 Nets?
Lawrence Frank seems intent on reassembling the coaching staff that he left behind in New Jersey, the one that ultimately finished 12-70 with Kiki Vandeweghe in charge.
Frank is likely to retain Brian Hill as his lead assistant, is trying to hire John Loyer, the Nets assistant, as well as Roy Rogers, who served with Frank both in New Jersey and Boston. Hill left the Nets for the Pistons just before the 2009-10 season began. Loyer and Rogers were there for whole debacle.

Coaches always take care of their own...
That is why many coaches float around in the NBA seemingly forever…
One hand washes the other…
Can't place all the blame on these fellas
Let’s not open up the Frank debate, but Lopez credited Rogers with helping him a lot and Brian Hill seems highly regarded (multiple time head coach). Kiki ran a nuthouse.
JJ for 3!
That coaching staff is better than what we have now...
There are so many factors involved that coaching cannot be measured by the record alone… the 12-70 Lawrence Frank is still the same LF who led the Nets to an unbelievable winning streak after Byron Scott got fired. Avery is a middle of the pack coach at best and Sam Mitchell and Byron Scott two of the worst coaches in the league…yet they all won Coach of the Year honors I believe…
