Jay-Z Announcement on FOX5
FOX5's "Good Day New York" will be broadcasting live from the Barclays Center site Monday, waiting for Jay-Z's "major announcements".
Rosanna Scotto will interview Bruce Ratner and Brett Yormark at 9:00 a.m., Albert King at 9:30, and finally Jay-Z at 9:40.
The Press Conference begins at 10 and will be streamed live on both the Nets and Barclays Center websites. Registration is required.

Jay-Z wanted to give up the colors but the managers off camera said no. Seems to indicate a change in colors is definitely coming.

it means to see it live on njnets.com or barclayscenter.com, you have to register online
if you click the headline which is a link it will take you to the registration site.

FOX local...not network.
I suspect it is also:
1) the announcement that Jay-Z will be opening the arena and I suspect a list of the opening acts the first week. (May also be the announcement that Barclays has reached an agreement with Live Nation)
2) the announcement that the team will be known at the Brooklyn Nets.
3) something else.

I think were getting too excited about the uniforms, names, etc.
In all likelihood, it will involve Barclays/Brooklyn seeing as how thats Jay-z’s biggest role with the Nets.

That was really great.
Lot’s of live action shots of the Barclays center in the background and the progress. Jay-Z was trying so hard not to laugh in the face of Rosanna Scotto.
Albert King spoke afterwards, I’m glad he’s back in the Nets fold. Missed the first 12 minutes, did Ratner and Yormark speak?
